One-Click Payment from Invoice Emails
With Stripe connected, each invoice email contains a "Pay Now" button linked to a unique Stripe Payment Link. Customers click, complete the card payment, and the invoice status updates to paid automatically. Three delivery methods are available:
- Kantivo Relay (default): Polished invoice emails sent instantly with no SMTP configuration required
- Custom SMTP: Route emails through your own mail server for complete brand consistency
- Manual: Open the draft in your preferred email application to personalize the message before sending
Hands-Free Accounting Entries
When a payment arrives - whether processed through a gateway or recorded by hand - Kantivo posts the journal entries for you:
- Debits the appropriate cash or bank account
- Credits the accounts receivable balance
- Marks the invoice as paid
- Logs any gateway processing fees to an expense account
- Adjusts the customer's outstanding balance
Partial Payments
