Most accounting software asks you to learn accounting first. EzMode doesn't. Tell Kanta what happened, in your own words, and the right form fills itself in for you to check. When you want every report and ledger, one switch at the top brings back the full application, on the same company file.
The EzMode home screen (illustration, sample company).
EzMode doesn't hide accounting behind shortcuts. It does the accounting for you, then shows you the result before anything is saved.
Type it, or press the microphone and say it. Or start with a tile such as I spent money and finish the sentence.
It opens the same invoice, check or bill a bookkeeper would use, picks the customer and the right accounts, and fills in the amounts. If a category is unclear, it asks rather than guesses.
Nothing posts until you click Save. Anything you haven't looked at waits under Waiting for my OK on your home screen, so a closed window never loses work.
Simplified accounting products usually trade away the books. EzMode keeps them, because it is a different way into the same software rather than a lighter version of it.
EZ and Full sit side by side at the top of every screen. Start simple, open the full view when you need a report, and switch back. You never outgrow it, because there is nothing to upgrade to.
"I got paid" records a real customer payment, and "I spent money" records a real expense against a real account. Your accountant opens the same file and finds GAAP-compliant books, a full audit trail and every report.
Money in the bank, money owed to you, money you owe. Below them, Kanta lists what needs attention, such as overdue invoices or bills, in plain sentences.
Press the microphone, or turn on hands-free mode and say "Kanta". Listening for the wake word happens on your own computer.
EzMode comes with a new choice for every user: the screen that opens first. It is saved to each login, so it follows a person to any computer. The owner can open on EzMode, a bookkeeper on the Chart of Accounts, the firm's accountant on Accountant Tools, and a travel agent on Travel Bookings.
Intuit's closest answer to "make it simpler" is a separate product. Here is the difference.
| Kantivo EzMode | QuickBooks | |
|---|---|---|
| Simple view | A switch inside the full product | QuickBooks Solopreneur, a separate product for sole proprietors |
| When the business grows | Nothing changes; open the full view | Move to a different QuickBooks product |
| Books underneath | Full chart of accounts, double-entry | A simplified category list (double-entry underneath) |
| AI that fills in the work | Every plan | AI agents not included in Simple Start; more on higher tiers |
| Your accountant | Opens the same file, full view | Uses QuickBooks Online Accountant |
| Where your data lives | On your own computer | Intuit's cloud |
